Wolves In The Throne Room Share New Cut 'Mother Owl, Father Ocean'

Tuesday 12th September, 2017 10:39AM

As they creep towards the release of sixth studio album Thrice Woven, Washington outfit Wolves In The Throne Room have let loose epic black metal dirge 'Mother Owl, Father Ocean'. The expansive cut features ethereal vocals from Swedish singer Anna von Hausswolff, the band's drummer Aaron Weaver telling Metal Hammer that making music with her was "a true gift", adding:

“When I close my eyes and listen to Anna’s Voice I see the cold grey oceans of the north. It reminds me of the saltwater near my beloved home, and the cold oceans everywhere. Hail to the Icy Waters of this Earth! Hail Anna!”

Thrice Woven will be released on 22nd September via Artemisia Records.
