Melbourne masters of eighties-esque synth pop Client Liaison are crossing the Tasman for the first time ever as part of their 'A Foreign Affair' world tour. The tour, which will also take the cosmopolitan pair to Europe and the United States, celebrates the international roll out of their debut album Diplomatic Immunity, which saw local release late last year. In a statement issued by the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Deputy Leader of the Liberal Party Julie Bishop announced earlier today:

‘After a series of high level talks and hundreds of Diplomatic Cables, we can confirm Client Liaison will be flying the Australian flag overseas in what is their first World Tour’.

Celebrating the international release of their critically acclaimed debut album Diplomatic Immunity and their collaboration with iconic Australian songbird Tina Arena, the ‘A Foreign Affair World Tour’ will reward New Zealand audiences with Client Liaison’s first tour across the ditch.

Client Liaison have built as one of Australia’s most explosively impressive live acts, showcased in full as they recently ignited the Splendour In The Grass main Amphitheatre recently.

‘A Foreign Affair World Tour’ will be the final instalment of Client Liaison’s journey through the Diplomatic Cocktail Circuit, starting in Australia’s most loved venues. The Foreign Affair World tour will then launch into New Zealand, Europe and The United States of America.
