English punk rocker Glen Matlock made history as a founding member of pivotal 70s group the Sex Pistols, he was their first bassist before flying the coop to make way for hellraiser Sid Vicious. The ‘Pretty Vacant’ co-writer went on to start Rich Kids, record a solo album, and record collaborations with the likes of Iggy Pop. Matlock remains an active force, and dropped into Wellington’s Valhalla to run through an acoustic selection of faves from his extensive back catalogue to an appreciative Saturday night crowd. Photographer Bruce MacKay went along and captured the historic event, here’s his impeccable snaps of the evening…
