Watch The National's Intimate Video 'Dark Side Of The Gym'

Indie-rock mainstays The National have dropped a heartstring-plucking clip to accompany their bittersweet track ‘Dark Side of the Gym’. The visuals were directed and choreographed by Justin Peck and depicts a young couple tearing through a dance routine in a darkened auditorium, which is filled with balloons of varying sizes. It feels as if the hall is awaiting a full-blown school disco to commence, with the protagonists being treated to their own private, romantic preview. The track is lifted from Sleep Well Beast, the seventh offering from the Ohio-based quintet. They'll be heading our way this February for a show at Villa Maria Winery, check out the new video below…
