Christchurch's Dry Dive Shares Devilishly Catchy Tune 'Bad Idea'

Monday 22nd January, 2018 12:38PM

Dry Dive (the solo project of Johnny Fast from Christchurch punk crew Nervous Jerk) has dropped a catchy, lyrically vivid tune called ‘Bad Idea’. Lifted from a forthcoming, four track EP, the song was recorded, mixed and mastered by RDU’s Brian Feary and paints a picture of its protagonist selling his soul and befriending the devil. It all works out for the best as the hero discovers he has a lot in common with the great deceiver, singing “Black Flag and Necros / Regular Show on DVD / We became best friends in the end / I visit every week." Check it out below…

Check out Dry Dive's recently released track 'Reputation' which will also be featured on the upcoming EP...

You can catch Johnny Fast's other musical outing Nervous Jerk play at Full Noise festival which is happening on Friday 2nd March & Saturday 3rd March at Grey Lynn Library Hall. For full details head over HERE.
