Auckland's Merk aka Mark Perkins recently dropped by the studio of independent radio station 95bFM to perform recently released single ‘Hang’, along with ‘Ash & Sand’ from this year's album Swordfish. The live to air performance was recorded for the long-running New Zealand music focused Freak The Sheep show's Live & Direct sessions, presented every week by the ever-diligent Zac Arnold (Sere, Mean Girls). Merk played stripped-back arrangements of his songs, with the artist donning only an acoustic guitar, keyboard and sampler for accompaniment - check out the footage below…
