Christchurch songwriter Pickle Darling aka Lukas Mayo's debut album Bigness was an early local musical highlight for 2019 when it released in January, and continues to deliver the good stuff with a new animated video for the collection's 'Even Pinker'. Directed and animated by Simone Dobbie, the clip features delicately rendered, semi-abstract wiggly images drawing inspiration from household objects, everyday vistas and personal feelings, conjuring a dreamy visual complement to Mayo's intimately recorded tune. 'Bigness' is out now on limited edition LP or cassette via Slovakian independent label Z Tapes.
