Earth Tongue Announce Debut Album 'Floating Being' + Share Single 'Microscopic God'
Pōneke sonic travellers Earth Tongue have unveiled a new audio-visual combo titled 'Microscopic God', accompanied by the mind-zapping announcement of the imminent arrival of their debut album Floating Being, releasing this June via Bristol-based imprint Stolen Body Records. Initially teased during the team of Gussie Larkin (Mermaidens) and Ezra Simons's recent live-to-air session for Dunedin's Radio One 91FM, 'Microscopic God' is a deep dive into psych-rock riff worship, tunnelling into skulls with labyrinthine lead lines and the duo's ensorcelling double-vocal attack. The accompanying clip by Simons and Sevrin Noakes is equally zoned, fronted by a niftily designed title by Callum Rooney of Auckland blazers Ounce. Earth Tongue are heading to Europe to soak up the summer for a run of shows in June and July, experience Floating Being's lead single here...
'Floating Being' is out Friday 21st June via Stolen Body Records.
