Caught Live: Sharon Van Etten Sings With Jeff Goldblum At Glastonbury
The Glastonbury jealousy is palpable after footage emerged of actor Jeff Goldblum and pop-rock icon Sharon Van Etten sharing the stage. Van Etten, who’s been in the vicinity fairly recently, made the cameo during Goldblum’s set with jazz band The Mildred Snitzer Orchestra, and together they created what was most likely the classiest moment of the festival with their rendition of the 1936 song 'Let's Face The Music And Dance'. Goldblum showed off his jazz piano chops, the perfect pairing with Van Etten’s smoky vocals, while an uncharacteristically subdued Glastonbury crowd listen in, enraptured. Later on, Van Etten Tweeted "Still feels like a dream that I got to sing on Jeff Goldblum’s new album and then perform with his incredible band @glastofest yesterday.
