Pōneke's Lilith Share Single ‘Beach Mum’

A.K. / Tuesday 29th October, 2019 1:07PM

Raucous Pōneke three piece Lilith are screaming into summer with their sweltering debut tune ‘Beach Mum’. The pop-punk outfit, fronted by guitarist Kelsi Stroud, with Tasmin Prichard on bass and Maddie Weston on drums, has been frequently popping up in the Wellington music scene, most notably nailing a support slot for New Jersey punk legends Screaming Females in May this year. Their latest cut hones in on an iconic slice of the Aotearoa summer: the impossibly organised, floppy-hat wearing, sunblock-wielding ‘Beach Mum’. The catchy Georgie Kirton-produced track comes with scorching cover art created by Evelyn Mészáros too, that looks warped and refracted through heat waves. Get your feet wet with Lilith’s debut release…
