Listen To First Move's 'Provincial Blight' EP

Te Papaioea / Palmerston North noise-rockers First Move have today unveiled the remainder of their Provincial Blight EP, wrapping up a compelling run of single releases. The team of Jono Galuszka, Fraser Williams (Sports Dreams) and Harry Lilley's four track collection dives deep into dirgey guitars, powerfully pounding rhythms and unsparing social commentary sung in English and Te Reo (on 'Badlands') – channelling the uncompromising spirit of Aotearoa feedback pioneers Bailterspace and their hometown's Skeptics, with glimpses of sunshine cutting through the group's minimal yet dense sonic fog.
