Watch The National's 'High Violet Live From Brooklyn Academy Of Music'
Cincinnati troubadours The National have come out of the woodwork this isolation season to celebrate the tenth anniversary of High Violet. Their much-loved and highly praised fifth studio album's High Violet Expanded Edition will be released on wax for the very first time, with the 2010 collection developed into a triple LP with alternate recordings of 'Terrible Love', 'Walk Off' and more. Although the band had to push back their Aotearoa shows with Phoebe Bridgers to December this year, they've chucked the documented performance of High Violet Live From Brooklyn Academy of Music onto the web, which was filmed the day before the album dropped a decade ago. In edition to this exciting news, The National are directing all profits from their web store and Cherry Tree fan club fees to their dozen crew members to cover lost wages, for as long as need be. Log on to the digital GA and find yourself in 2010, back when the world was a little less apocalyptic...
The National's ‘High Violet Expanded Edition’ triple vinyl release is out June 19th via 4AD.
