What am I getting up to this sunny long weekend? Listening to gloomy synth soundtracks by US master of horror John Carpenter of course! While that's traditionally my go-to answer for that specific question, I'll be adding a new record to the literally all-killer list, with the director / electronic innovator's latest instalment of his Lost Themes imaginary soundtrack series out today. Entitled Alive After Death and recorded with Carpenter's son Cody Carpenter and Daniel Davies, Lost Themes III includes pulsing recent cut 'Skeleton' alongside nine more suspenseful and eerily epic instrumentals to sink your fangs into...
