Summer starts in Aotearoa tomorrow, but already sounding like a cool dip on a blazing hot day is local producer Waker's reflective remix of NZ / Melbourne-based electronic artist Fanfickk's 'Feel Better', from August's two track Summer Sun EP. The new version puts a hazy spin on a tune that first emerged from stressful origins, as Fanfickk explained "It's about the helpless feeling that goes hand in hand with illness, and being too far away to comfort someone... It would be nice if it were less topical". Feeling like an ambient flip-side to Fanfickk's nerve-wracking (yet super catchy) early '21 collab with Wellie | 웰리 'Everything's On Fire', you can soak up the remix here along with free-floating, cotton candy-like visuals...
