Pixies Announce New Album 'Indie Cindy'

Tuesday 25th March, 2014 10:38AM

Pixies have announced they will be releasing a new studio album for the first time in more than 20 years. The alternative rock band, which broke up for 11 years and reformed in 2003, haven't released any full-length records since they dropped Trompe Le Monde in 1991. However, rather than being a fresh album impending release Indie Cindy is more of a compilation, bringing together the 12 cuts from the group's recent records EP-1, EP-2 and newly released EP-3. The tracks for Indie Cindy were recorded in October 2012 in the United Kingdom and produced by Gil Norton, who is responsible for classic Pixies albums Doolittle, Bossanova, and Trompe le Monde. The new album will be available on April 19 to coincide with Record Store Day. Take a listen to track 'Bagboy', which is from EP-3...
