Listen: Esben And The Witch - Blood Teachings

After a highly successful PledgeMusic campaign to raise money to fund their third album, goth-pop group Esben and the Witch are sharing first single 'Blood Teachings' as a thanks to fans. The British trio reached 117 percent of the goal to fund A New Nature, which has been recorded under the helm of renowned producer and engineer Steve Albini and will soon be released through the group's own label Nostromo Records (following the band's recent departure from Matador). Creeping single 'Blood Teachings' clocks in at over eight minutes, rolling along with primitive drumming before becoming completely stripped down around Rachel Davies's vocals at the midway mark, and then building up again to a more raucous affair.
