Listen: Anna Calvi And David Byrne Cover Connan Mockasin

When Anna Calvi announced she was putting out an EP of covers that would feature David Bryne (Talking Heads) we were intrigued. The May announcement of Strange Weather was shortly followed by the duo putting out the stunning titular single and leaking the rest of the track listing, which included a cut from New Zealand's very own Connan Mockasin. Finally, after what feels like an incredibly long wait, the album has dropped and we can get our hands on the track. Calvi's treatment of the creepy 'I'm The Man, That Will Find You' keeps fairly true to original form and her voice well-suited to the slinky song. Byrne's own part is fairly sparse, limited to echoing the British songstress from the middle chorus onwards, but his deep tones adds a depth to the seductive cut. The album also has covers of tracks from FKA Twigs, David Bowie and Suicide. Take a listen to the Mockasin below...
