Shihad Announce Killjoy 20th Anniversary Show

Shihad will be taking over Auckland's Powerstation at the end of the month to perform their classic album Killjoy in its entirety. Last week the group announced it would be marking the 20th anniversary of Killjoy by reissuing the remastered album deluxe vinyl, CD and digital formats and including bonus track ‘N.I.L’.

Following in the heels of their 1993 debut Churn, sophomore release Killjoy was unleashed in 1995 and was the group's first album to go gold in New Zealand. It also won Best Album at the 1996 New Zealand Music Awards, and gained praise from rock jugganauts such as Iggy Pop and Metallica. The enduring record, which included killer singles ‘You Again’, ‘Bitter’, ‘Gimme Gimme’ and ‘Deb's Night Out’, is the album that truly launched Shihad on to the international stage.
