Hopetoun Brown and The Genius Of Finn Scholes

....this is the true hometown show, just up the road from the clarinet players house. He once crashed his bike on Hakanoa Street rushing to an embryonic Hopetoun rehearsal. This show will be uncommonly intimate; in fact we're still working out how to fit the audience in the same tiny room as a full size vibraphone, a Rhodes electric piano, the Jazz Chorus amp, a huge tuba along with various saxophones, trumpets and trombones (that thing takes up a surprisingly large amount of oxygen!).

Experience the rich sound coming from the golden tonsils of Tim Stewart while you're cushioned by Nick's brooding bass clarinet and Finn's outstanding trumpet licks. The Freida's piano will undoubtably get a work out too. So much acoustic goodness in one night of stomping bluesy niceness! Don't miss out, very limited capacity!
