The Auckland based musician has been doing it all since he was 16. With 5 projects under his belt, Maxwell Young has been growing as an artist and a person over his years as a musician.

Accompanying The Internet and Snail Mail on their New Zealand tours, Maxwell has caught the eyes of some of the best overseas musicians. Along with features from the likes of Clairo and Harry Teardrop.

September 12th brings in the first Maxwell Young headline show of the year, most notably his first since the release of ‘Only Romantics’. Made up of 6 songs, the short and sweet EP ushers Maxwell’s most personal work. ‘Sketches of Dragonflies’ caught the eye of The 1975 frontman Matt Healy when he co-signed the track on Twitter. The show will also be Maxwell’s second time with an accompanying band after debuting the new look live set on Snail Mail’s NZ tour.
