This year the original Leigh Sawmill Cafe is bringing you a NYE celebration to remember!
Two of Auckland's most iconic DJs are coming together to battle it out for dancefloor supremacy in an epic clash of mighty sounds from all flavours of the musical spectrum.
KillaManRaro (The Black Seeds) & Bobby Brazuka (Latinaotearoa) will be bringing the combined heat of the South Pacific and South America to your New Years Eve in the unique setting of the legendary Leigh Sawmill Cafe.
With support from local beat-slinger extraordinaire Zane Tee (Base Fm/Grapevinyl), plus a suprise selection of extra special guests on live vocals and instrumentation.

***Bobby Brazuka***

With a DJ career that spans almost 20 years, Bobby Brazuka has carved out a niche playing Latin and Latin-inspired music in Aotearoa. Growing up listening to Brazilian greats Jorge Ben, Tim Maia and Marcos Valle, Bobby infused his rich musical heritage into Auckland's DJ culture, building a community around his Latin parties and earning himself a reputation as our unofficial Brazilian Music Ambassador.

Having first made his mark on the NZ music scene as a founding member of Auckland-based hip-hop/reggae collective Token Village (alongside Che Fu, King Kapisi, Submariner and Manuel Bundy), KillaManRaro has worked with a who's who of local and international artists including Trinity Roots,The Feelstyle, Hollie Smith, Sola Rosa, Soane, Eru Dangerspiel, Fat Freddy’s Drop & DJ Vadim. Joining forces with NZ reggae heavyweights The Black Seeds as their lead guitarist in 2012, he has since gone on to co-write and co-produce their 2017 Album Fabric and their 2019 EP Refabricated, and has most recently returned from a highly successful tour of Europe & the UK with them, as well as rocking a bunch of DJ gigs in Ibiza on the way.
