A Tribute To Kamasi Washington And Flying Lotus

Swap Gomez, Jy & Kenji (former members of Yoko-Zuna) join forces with Guy Harrison (Avantdale Bowling Club) in a TRIBUTE to two of Los Angeles biggest names in the city music scene, Kamasi Washington & Flying Lotus.

Kamasi Washington is a jazz saxophonist who has played alongside or collaborated with some of America's gretatest. Names such as Wayne Shorter, Herbie Hancock, Horace Tapscott, Gerald Wilson, Lauryn Hill, Nas, Snoop Dogg, George Duke, Chaka Khan, Flying Lotus, Thundercat, Mike Muir, Francisco Aguabella, the Pan Afrikaan People's Orchestra and Raphael Saadiq.

Flying Lotus or sometimes FlyLo, is one of the dopest American record producer, musician, DJ, filmmaker, and rapper in LA. He is also the founder of the record label Brainfeeder.
Flying Lotus has released six studio albums‍—‌1983 (2006), Los Angeles (2008), Cosmogramma (2010), Until the Quiet Comes (2012), You're Dead! (2014), and Flamagra (2019)‍—‌to critical acclaim.[5][6] He has produced much of the bumper music on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim programming block.[7] He also contributed remixes for fellow Plug Research artists including Mia Doi Todd.
