An Acoustic Night w/ Lauren and Sophie

After months of songwriting in lockdown, Lauren and Sophie are excited to share their latest original tunes in an intimate acoustic evening at MoveSpace.

Lauren Collins grew up idolising strong female pop stars and performing on stage every chance she could get. Now she's turning her dreams into reality by sharing original music inspired by love, heartbreak and adventure.
Lauren has spent the last year refining her sound, playing live to audiences in both Auckland and London. Writing from her own experiences, she tells her stories through strong vocal lines and rhythmic guitar. After releasing her first all acoustic EP in 2019, she has since released multiple singles and is currently working on her next EP.

Sophie Gibson is a singer/songwriter based in Auckland, New Zealand. 

Originally from Scotland, Sophie moved to New Zealand with her family in 2005, and grew up in the small town of Katikati in the Bay of Plenty. Her music encompasses the styles of singer/songwriter, easy listening, and indie pop music.
