Steelin' The Sunset

Welcome the change of seasons with the laidback groove of the country’s premier steel band, Steel’n Beats, set amidst the picturesque views of Little Easy's upstairs hidden secret on Saturday 7th November.

For the “Steelin’ the Sunset” concert, Steel’n Beats weave together a range of hits adapted for the steel pan - vintage calypso, reggae, soul and modern pop - into a seductive and life-affirming whole.

An emerging Auckland institution, Steel’n Beats appeared in 2019 at the PANZfest in Brisbane, and in the recent worldwide Pan Rocks Quarantine Jam.

The Steelin’ the Sunset showcase will be filmed for posterity with the city as a backdrop bookended by eclectic Caribbean vinyl selections from DJ Revelator.
