Tour Information
Grawlixes celebrate their sophomore album with a 12 date headline tour this July/August. The twelve shows will see Grawlixes perform across Aotearoa, captivating audiences with a dynamic set ranging from floating atmospheric ballads to spine-tingling rock.

The singles from the album have already achieved great heights. 'Honey Bees' reached #1 on the NZ Student Radio Network chart and at #4 on the NZ Radioscope Alternative Airplay Chart.
The following two singles, 'City Across the Bay' & 'Dalliance,' made it to Apple Music's New Music Daily (there is only a .34 or 1 in 300 chance of making it to the list once, so twice is pretty special).

“Within 90 seconds of Honey Bees I was enthralled, and immediately felt that this was why I review, as every so often something comes through which is so very special indeed that it has a major impact on me. This is one of those albums, and from the very beginning I knew this was significant, and that feeling kept growing as the album kept playing….It is timeless….They are soon going to be undertaking a 12-date tour, which on the evidence of this is not to be missed, as this is something which will be enjoyed by lovers of folk, country, acoustic, singer/songwriter material. Simply essential” Kev Rowland, Muzic.net.nz

Grawlixes are an existential folk-pop band who will sear themselves in your brain with raw, wry and infectious songs about doomed relationships, not being invited to parties, and wanting to murder each other, featuring Robin Cederman on guitar (The Prophet Hens), Penelope Esplin on accordion (French for Rabbits), Alex Vaastra on violin (Julian Temple Band, Emily Fairlight), Emma Hattaway on bass (BoJack Funkman) and Hikurangi Schaverien-Kaa on drums (Dawn Diver, French for Rabbits).

Grawlixes signed to Home Alone records, following an extensive European tour supporting now label-mates French for Rabbits, throughout Switzerland, England, Germany and France. They released their debut album ‘Set Free’ in July 2017 to critical acclaim, reaching #9 in the NZ Album Charts.

Love You To Death was released on July 15 on Home Alone Records.
The phenomenal album was recorded with Lee Prebble at The Surgery, in Wellington (L.A.B, Black Seeds, Trinity Roots) and mixed with producer Tom Healy (Julia Jacklin, Tiny Ruins, Finn Andrews) and mastered by Paul Gold of Salt Mastering in Brooklyn, New York (Sufjan Stevens, Grizzly Bear, Dirty Projectors).

Albi & The Wolves set fire to stages and fill hearts with hope with their energetic and relatable alternative indie folk songs. Chris Dent, the proud albino frontman Albi, Pascal Roggen and Micheal Young have crafted a stage show that’s brimming with energy and moments to pause for reflection. The trio has a huge sound that is simply created by an acoustic guitar, electric violin, double bass and their three voices. Since 2014 they have gone from strength to strength touring in Australia, New Zealand and Rarotonga and in 2018 they took home the Best Folk Artist Award at the NZVMA’s. What makes the band special is the sense of community that follows them everywhere they go so whether it’s connection through dance, laughter, or singing audiences feel radiant after shows and keep coming back for more.
