Henika Single Release w/ Vox Venus And Little Weird

Come celebrate the release of my new single 'The Future of the Species' at my favourite venue, The Wine Cellar.

I'll be playing songs from my upcoming album Strange Creatures made using sampled native bird calls. My 'band' features the Tui on beats, Korimako on hooks, Kokako on chords and Kakapo on bass. Plus many other native taonga interwoven with vocals, synths, guitars and theremin.

Celestial synth duo Vox Venus make music from the inner realms of outer space. Inventive rhythms, magical hooks and mind-altering vintage synths come together to transport listeners to new dimensions of sound.

Little Weird
Jazz and soul musician Sarah Radford and Rock musician Nick Jones have collaborated to write music that focuses on groove, and lyrics that are a commentary for the social and ecological issues that surround us.
