Grecco Romank, Kraus, Baby Zionov

Post-empire-themed dungeon power techno three piece Grecco Romank are joined by psych-synth wizard Kraus and breakbeat balloonist Baby Zionov for a triple-whammy-backroom of contemporary electronic music. Expect synthesized coughing attacks, balloon solos, and songs about consensual waterboarding, love and dreams, mythical Greek weaponry, cholera, and being the bitch.

Tāmaki Makaurau electronic trio Grecco Romank are currently chipping away in the studio at album number two, of which 'Dog Head' is the first single.
Plus there's soon to be a remix album of their brutalist sewer pop 2021 debut long player Red Tower, featuring Eden Burns, Keepsakes, Amamelia, Karl Steven, Black Snake Whip, Keanu Raves, Duo Alias, Ron Gallipoli, Eeling and more.

Kraus is a veteran producer of psychedelic music based in Tāmaki Makaurau. Beginning his career in the late 90s drumming for Dunedin bands such as The Futurians and The Aesthetics, since 2002 he has released 18 solo albums on local and international labels,‭ ‬including 'A Golden Brain’ (Ultra Eczema, 2020) and ‘Grip the Moon’ (‬Soft Abuse,‭ ‬2017‭).‭ ‬In recent years his focus has been synthesizer work inspired by electronic music pioneers Laurie Spiegel and Suzanne Ciani, along with contemporary weirdos from around the world such as DSR Lines, Hama, and Madalyn Merkey.

Baby Zionov is the musical project of Aaliyah Zionov (she/her), a musician and songwriter currently based in Tāmaki Makaurau.
Baby Zionov's music takes influence from 90s happy hardcore, 70s space disco, and vintage 16-bit video game soundtracks. She lays her playfully sensual vocals delicately throughout the mix.
Henrietta (out July 1 via Sunreturn) is Baby Zionov's debut album.
