With heavy beats, a raging horn section, quirky lyrics, catchy melodies, dirty guitars & lush keys, Spiral tunes are intricate and detailed, but with plenty of space for spontaneity, improvisation, interplay & audience interaction, giving each show a unique vibe; no two Spiral shows are the same. Hailing from Auckland, New Zealand, Spiral is a collective of 7 of New Zealand’s most in-demand musicians, who have played at such festivals as Womad & the Monterey jazz festival, with artists such as Batucada Sound Machine, dDub, Hayley Westenra, and the Rodger Fox Big Band
