UVB (MORD, BODY THEORY//FR)

Berlin-based French producer UVB has been gaining a name for himself amongst fans of energetic, hard-edged techno over the past few years. With a sound that treads the line between the dingy warehouse sounds of the 90s and the no-nonsense boom of European techno today, he earned his first EP on Bas Mooy’s Mord label in 2014, since committing several other EPs and an LP to the enduring and influential imprint, as well as beginning his own label Body Theory last year. This has gained him supporters among some of Europe’s best selectors, including Surgeon, Marcel Dettman, and Tommy Four Seven, as well as a busy touring schedule that has seen him play at some of Europe’s most infamous clubs, including Berghain, Tresor, Corsica Studios, as well as tours in the Americas and through Asia. This will be a night for all the fiends that want to catch a night of crunchy drums and loopy synths to move to until the small hours.
