Hailing from South West Australia, Luke Fox has played major festivals, supported his favourite touring artists and sold out venues in just 18 months on stage. the Firefighter turned Musician now brings his breezy feels and honest storytelling to NZ, playing solo shows across the country.

Saturday Nov10, Lucky Bar ,Whanganui.
supported by Sophie Mashlan

Luke delivers roots songwriting with pop sensibilities; an honest, laid-back swagger deriving from his regional small town upbringing.  A bedroom musician for some time, it was playing acoustic gigs whilst travelling, a memorable evening in the village of Ericeira on Portugal's surf coast and some seriously good luck, which inspired Luke to finally share his music at home.

It's since been an enjoyable ride for Luke; winning TripleJ's 2017 Groovin' The Moo competition, supporting artists including Lime Cordiale, Hollow Coves, Abbe May and Riley Pearce, songs featured by global brand STA Travel and popular Netflix series Terrace House as well as launching debut EP 'Sugarloaf' at the 2018 Nannup Folk Festival.

Recorded by Matt Gio (Birds of Tokyo, San Cisco) and mastered by Willy Bowden (Gotye, Paul Dempsey), The Sugarloaf EP is a tribute to home, to authenticity and to the ironic problem of feeling lost when able to have everything.
