Pure exhilerating entertainment from start to finish Raw Collective with guests Sky Canvas and Ghost Who Walks.

Headlining the 2019 Better Days event, Raw Collective appeared on the scene with their first music video ‘COINS (MEMORIES)’ which won single of the year on radioactive.fm and support from independent radio stations across the country, RAW COLLECTIVE set themselves on a path to make inspiring original music and back it up with an energetic live show.

RAW COLLECTIVE takes inspiration from many genres and influences and distills it into an honest, original, raucous energy that speaks to all generations and walks of life through music that sings to the soul, causes the head to nod and encourages the feet to move in a rhythmic fashion.

Sky Canvas are an alt soul/hiphop Wellington 5-piece. They are a dynamic blend of stirring vocals with colourful synth/guitar textures and fiery, dancing rhythms. They bring this radiant and hard-grooving energy to their live shows - delivering a gripping experience that you'll find yourself moving to. Their sound features elements of off-centre soul, hip-hop, electronic, rock and eastern-flavoured jazz.

Sky Canvas' 5-track debut EP was recorded in Wellington's Surgery Studios and released in 2017, and reached #13 on the NZ Albums chart, and #8 on the Heatseekers chart.

Ghost Who Walks is Sam Fowles, backed by his band operating under the moniker of The Ghost. They are a New Zealand, funk, rock, blues band that is homegrown in Wellington. With a tight rhythm section and groove that will make you move; soaring leads, funky riffs and soulful vocals.

With lyrical styles that relate to the listener, their aim is to move the body and touch the soul with their music.
