Emma has a talent for enchanting and captivating her audience right from the moment you sit to watch or listen. She is a warm human being with a deep passion for life. Her connection to her audience and the simple crafting of song and music are evidence of that. Pouring in her heart and soul, she creates music that has the capacity to bring tears of joy alongside lyrics imbued with fearless sensuality. She has surrendered to her words in a convincing and unedited way and brings those words to life in the creative fusion of incredible accompaniment with her current band. Emma has been joined by particularly skilled and talented musicians that play Cello, Native American Flute, Violin, Spanish Guitar, ambient bass and organic percussion. This perfect compliment to her guitar and voice will have you wanting more. The music is strongly influenced by the european festival culture, by the classic Bristol Trip-Hop sound, a life of travel, soul searching and spiritual adventure that has taken Emma to stages in Europe, Australasia and the USA. You can be sure to experience knowing that this artists material has come directly from her powerful life experiences that have woven the fabric of her musical life and adventures in relationship.

This music is far from formulaic, It's raw and honest and emotionally engaging.

Heres a bit more background:
Enjoying the 90’s dance scene Emma wrote and co-produced Not Sorry which was white labeled and played on numerous dance floors in the Early 2000’s. During Emmas time with Elliots Sleeping, a popular touring uk covers band covering powerful artists such as Annie Lennox, Sheryl Crow, Skunk Anansie and Alannis Morrisettte (whom she performed as on the popular UK television series “Stars in Their Eyes”). Emma had always written originals however which led her to form her own band “Gaia. Gaia started building momentum but soon folded due to Emma becoming a mother to her two girls which was an all consuming event! She stayed off of the performing circuit for a while at that time but as always continued to write her compelling heart songs and worked part time as a session singer. During this time of reflection Emma produced a release ready 4 track EP with Qton Music, London, however she was not content with this over production which seemed to draw her in more of a pop direction rather that the more eclectic sound that she had spent years discovering and enjoying. Returning to the stage after a 6 year break Emma hit the scene once again but now as a solo artist performing most recently on stages at many well known festivals including Glastonbury, The Big Green Gathering and Bestival. Spending this time lapping up more of the acoustic world sounds that she had become accustomed to.

Emma is often found somewhere around a festival fire, jamming, and claims to have cut her musical teeth this way. This is where she finds her bliss!

Some Quotes:
“Her singing voice is a taste of pure raw heaven and the words of life lived poetry that flow through her are a divine addition to the tapestry of life.”
“I used to go to the river a lot in Japan, Just letting me float in the crystal clear waters. the sun shines on me, comforts me. Your voice reminded me of this beautiful memory”
Emma’s voice has the effect of stroking you , like melted chocolate, from head to toe….on the inside
