Gestalt Switch Tour
Thursday 2nd November, 2006 12:00PM
Never ones to do anything by half, Gestalt Switch thought they'd blow the last of the little amount of money they have left on another tour. With sleeping bags and dried noodles packed, the North Island looks as inviting as ever. Along for a few shows will be Motor Vehicle Sundown of Melbourne.
Recently signed to Trifekta Records (Architecture In Helsinki, The Decemberists, Deerhoof, Xiu Xiu), this will be MVS's first trip to NZ.
The aim of the tour is not necessarily to road-test new songs, make some money for Gestalt Switch's 1st album, nor is it to see old friends. No, the main reason is to drive the band's car into the ground so they can claim insurance on it and finally buy a decent van. Here's to that!
