Hosted by Sarge fresh from Queenstown the party strives to raise awareness for Type 1 Diabetes a life long disease effecting around 11,000 New Zealanders. It mainly develops during youth & requires daily routine involving injections blood testing monitored exercise and diet. Five dollars from every ticket will be donated to Auckland Youth Diabetes.

Sponsored by Red Bull the sugar free variety will also be available to ensure diabetics are taken care of plus there will be a selection of tasty diabetic friendly food.

GOOD designer Lillie Toogood will dress some of the musicians and limited edition Zillionstars GOOD merchandise will be on sale.

The vision of Zillionstars brand is simple, to select talented musicians with potential to be a Zillionstars and propel them to make their dreams happen by creating unique events.

Fresh from the Rhythm & Vines Cellar Tour, Blackbird are a Crosby Stills & Nash style band with earthy undertones that reflect the wonderful east coast mixing harmonica, percussion & even a didgeridoo! Settle into the Northern Steamship early from 6pm to enjoy.

Charlie Ash is the reputed sexiest Auckland punk-rave-theatre-clash quartet! Eccentric Rosie Riggors heads the band flashing a style that hasn't been seen since the 80's and immediately sets the scene for a funky boogie.

Now your rolling into The Coshercot Honeys who ooze tunes that are a little bit psychedelic, with a slice of punk where the whole band is involved in writing & arranging of each song. Influenced by bands such as The Doors, The Horrors & The Libertines, the Honeys are sweet on the ear.

Whitebirds & Lemons formed in late 2005 at a friend's party. Petit & young Scott Fitz has such a powerful voice and the sounds of Whitebirds & Lemons echoes Franz Ferdinand. They are soon to release their mini-album "Who Says You're Free?"

Headlining are Electric Confectionaires a four-piece band from Devonport who won the 2005 Smokefree Rockquest. The Confectionaires album is due to be released next month with a killer hit named Late Night Shopping. Their raw talent and energy will electrify with traces of the retro Beatles era.

The music will continue with special guests Clarke Gayford & DJ Automatic mixing up party tunes to air guitar too till late.

Tickets can be purchased for $25 at Real Groovy. $5 per ticket donated to Auckland Youth Diabetes.

Saturday, 26th May 2007, 6.30pm till late, Northern Steamship Co, 122 Quay Street, Auckland.
