Album Stream: Time To Go - The Southern Psychedelic Moment: 1981-86

Last November in the midst of the Flying Nun 30th Anniversary celebrations we got to speak to Bruce Russell (Dead C/Xpressway) about, among other things, an interesting new compilation he'd been working on the for the label which sought to highlight the relationship between Flying Nun music from Christchurch and Dunedin in the early 80s to '60s psychedelia. After a few delays, the compilation titled Time To Go - The Southern Psychedelic Moment: 1981-86 is now available and we have a full stream of the album available for your listening pleasure.

 

Featuring well known artists of the era like The Clean, The Chills, The Gordons, Tall Dwarfs and Look Blue Go Purple along with more obscure acts like 25 Cents, Scorched Earth Policy and Max Block - it is an intriguing and insightful listen.
