Are you talkin’ to me mate, or chewing a brick? either way ya gonna wind up with Missing Teeth, when iLL gOTTEN gAINS hits stereos November, Two thousand and seven.
The result of nine years of hard knocks. The always difficult 'second album' has finally become a harsh reality.
Luckily, the absence of major label support, grants, awards, government funding, or mainstream success have kept these four normal people doing what they do best. - 18 new iLL gOTTEN tracks of heavily distilled sweat and beer fuelled punkrock and/or roll MUSIC.
Since the surprisingly popular release of their debut Self Titled album in 2001, the boys have scraped together three 7" vinyl releases, two Compilation releases (from their own label, PuppyKillerRecords) and the aptly titled Disaster EP. They've played every conceivable support slot which has graced our country (and others) touring relentlessly- hard long and fast, MISSING TEETH are well known across the long white cloud of chaos for their flat-out gritty approach to everything (including gambling and football) Their often questionable DIY ethos and ferocious live show have seen them become one of the top genre acts in the country and has lead to many hard-earned gains on and off the field.
iLL gOTTEN was once again self funded, produced, engineered and mixed at the teeth’s own legendary studio in West Auckland “The Dank”
MISSING TEETH and a select bunch of heroic significant others will celebrate the release of Ill Gotten Gains in true teeth style …..
