Pitch Black remixes
After a huge summer which saw them touring Australasia, and coming into a huge winter which will see them touring the Northern Hemisphere, the Pitch Black boys are excited to announce the re-release of their first two albums 'Futureproof' and 'Electronomicon' on June 2nd, 2008.
Both featuring the cream of international and local collaborators, the re-releases come as monstrous double albums, finally combining the much-loved originals remastered alongside the mint remixed versions.
The quick fingered collaborators featured on 'Futureproof' include the dynamic international-turned-Kiwi Tom Bailey as International Observer alongside the U.K.'s Youth who in addition to being a member of The Orb & Killing Joke, previously worked as producer with Depeche Mode and INXS. The local side is represented by legendary Auckland producer and beatmaker Submariner, and completed with electronic pioneer Epsilon Blue.
'Electronomicon' also features an impressive array from the worlds beatmaking crop pulling in Youth for another go alongside some more of New Zealand's beat royalty including Salmonella Dubs' Rockwood, Subculture's Sunshine Soundsystem, P-Diggs of Shapeshifter fame, and the aforementioned Epsilon Blue.
With the albums forecast for a June release Pitch Black are back on tour starting with a Galatos date before heading overseas.
