What will ultimately help a funk/punk band in this day is good songs, songs that are solid regardless of their time. And good songs are here on the Friendly Fires ST debut.

It’s a running marathon of sharp, slightly funky pop songs with a real nice vocal style topping it off. It’s fun and simple with easy to remember choruses which will be the ticket to launching this band.

Standout tracks are Paris, Jump in the Pool and their first single Photobooth.
