This Canadian big indie pop band's sound is rife at the moment with super indies like Arcade Fire leaning head strong into the mainstream wind.
This album kicks off as large as their forefathers with troubled vocals chanting over superstrums (r). It's more classic pop in an indie rock vein than the other way around.
Not to take anything away from it, i'm sure fans of Modest Mouse, The Shins and Arcade Fire will have found a new stocking filler here.
