The only problem I have with this record is that it’s just too damn short!

I was won over immediately by Dear Time’s Waste after just one listen of Clandestine and Room for Rent. Ever since I’ve been dying to see what else they have to offer – whether Clandestine was just a one hit wonder or whether there is a real star in our midst.

I can tell you with confidence; Clare Duncan is a true star, every song on this her debut 5 track EP, is beautifully crafted, recorded and performed. I was particularly taken with track 3, Polarity, which initially made me fear the EP was going to turn into a typical singer-song writer release – enter the quirky Bjork like flute samples, layered vocals and keyboards – beautiful.

The whole record is beautiful, the production is top notch – it just sounds great. Clare Duncan and Djeisen Suskov make a great team, I hope to hear many many many more collaborations between these two in the future.
