Thank christ for Dinosaur Jr, a band who still know how to smash out of your speakers with an overwhelming fuzz guitar.
Farm is instantly familiar to Dinasaur Jr’s sound and although not too much has changed over the some 20 years, this album sounds as alive as ever with the guitars demanding the loudest possible setting on your stereo.
J Mascis’ typical laid back vocals and bedroom guitars have a weird effect on the listener, sort of partial stonedness or a general relaxed haze.
