Liars have a soft spot with me. Stopping their inevitable fate as a punk funk one off, they've re-invented themselves through two very experimental albums before releasing this one, the self titled 2007 release.

They've managed again to shock through their music with this record almost coming back full circle to their pop roots (or at least solid song structure beginnings).

'Opener Plaster Casts of Everything' is a testament to the flow of this album which starts with a bang then chimes along, hypnotically with direction.

The vinyl release comes with super thick cream coloring and cool artwork which all adds to this band being the entire package and leading the way forward with interesting music with guitars.
