American fingerstyle guitarist Richard Gilewitz returns to New Zealand for his 7th tour with a platter of rousing concerts filled with amazing chops, and humor. As Richard incorporates his own personality and orchestration into a sound tunnel of timeless musical history, he takes his audience on an excursion filled with colorful imagery of samples from European, Contemporary, and Spanish Classical works to the Traditional, Folk, Blues, and American Primitive eras. “Acoustic Adventures” is a 2-hour journey into the past and present realm of guitar that has received standing ovations around the globe from the Garter Lane Arts Centre in Ireland, the Harbour Lights Theatre in New Zealand to the Ruth Eckerd Hall in the United States.
