Acoustic Routes at Katipo Cafe, 10 February, 7:30pm.
Acoustic Routes is a Wellington based folk club of friendly folkies who meet and participate in concerts, club events, workshops, sing-arounds, and blackboard concerts. On Wednesday the 10th, we will be holding our informal music-making session at Katipo Cafe in Willis St. We anticipate a blackboard concert in the first half, and then will merge into a singaround/jam in the second half. Participation is the key, and the opportunity to be listened to. There will be no cover-charge, and all are welcome.
Folk Music covers a broad genre of traditional, shanties, ballads, celtic, gospel, a cappella, country, alt-country, blues, contemporary and original material for voice and instruments.
