The Uplifter has been playing out Roots Reggae, Dub and traditional Jamaican Ska music in venues, festivals and outdoor events throughout the UK as well as touring the United States, Europe, NZ and Australia since 2003.
Shows in the past have involved playing out alongside Macka B, Vibronics, Zion Train, Channel One Sound System (UK), The Slackers (USA), Westbound Train (USA), Groundation (USA), The Aggrolites (USA) and Rebelation, as well as producing original material in the studio.
The unique show blends live percussion, animated art visuals, renowned classics alongside less well known yet equally inspiring music from around the world, dubplates (unreleased music) and genres appealing to crowds both locally and internationally.
