Tommie Sunshine - the man - the legend.
The only other time he has come to NZ was a few years ago headlining at the Vector Arena.
It sold out.
Here are a couple of his tracks:
Tommie Sunshine - Limit Of Your Mind (Tocadiscos Beach Club Mix)

Not only that but he is a pretty cool dude. Here is his message to the world, well worth a watch at 40 seconds - http://www.youtube.com/watch'v=WkYydujDnHg
He is a true superstar DJ; having played all over America and Europe in the last few weeks alone. This is his only New Zealand show and we are lucky to have him.
All your DJ mates will know and love him and every punter will be able to appreciate the greatness. So tell your friends. The last DROPPED with Kid Kenobi went mental - youre always in safe hands with us.

In every generation there are the trendsetters, and there are the rest who follow. Let’s just say DJ, producer, remixer, and songwriter Tommie Sunshine has never been one to follow or duck from controversy. He is at the same time a visionary and historian, having been personal witness to the bleeding-edge of popular culture and music for nearly 3 decades. Tastemaker to tastemakers and a musical icon, Tommie is renowned for his reputation of being consistently ahead of the curve.
Set apart by his iconoclastic productions, he is regarded as one of today’s most prolific remixers with over 120 commissioned remixes to date, and his original production career spans collaborations with all manner of huge names.
Whether as a DJ, Remixer, or Artist, Tommie brings a unique enthusiasm to his craft; one that is fueled by his encyclopedic (if not obsessive) knowledge of underground and pop music spanning the last half-century. Putting the “riot” back in “patriot,” Tommie Sunshine can be trusted to tell you how we got here, what’s happening now, and what’s going to happen next.
