Just over a year ago Beat Mafia Entertainment launched with a loud thud on August 22nd with AC Slater. Since then we have seen some great acts hit Aucklands shores. The likes of Mowgli, Fukkk Offf, Trevor Loveys, Reset Robot and Dirty Disco Youth.
So after a successful year we have decided to through a big birthday bash at Be. Night Club a club that has supported us greatly over the past year, with a special guest HOOK n SLING...!

There is no denying that the eyes and ears of the worlds dance music fraternity are focussed firmly on Hook N Sling in 2010. In just a few short years the man has gone from aspiring DJ to hot DJ/Producer property.

2007 was the defining year for Hook. Scoring an Aria Nomination, a Buzz Chart #1 & Pete Tong plays for his tune The Bump. Since then the releases have come steady and strong including the Radio and Club smashes The Best Thing & Gotta Make a Move. The massive success of these singles has led Hook to remix Calvin Harris, Fedde Le Grande, Miike Snow, Miami Horror. David Vendetta and Ou Est Le Swimming Pool.
As a DJ the rise of Hook has been nothing short of phenomenal. Touring relentlessly around Australia, Europe and USA. Few DJs can boast such a wide variety of regular gigs at Pacha London, Space Ibiza, Ministry Of Sound, Global Gathering, Future Music Festival and Good Vibrations to name just a few.
2010/11 will see Hook N Sling mix the MOS Annual as well as keeping up a relentless touring and release schedule.
