Thursday 14th of October will see two legends of current underground Hip-Hop grace our shores. Evidence - MC, producer & one third of Californias Dilated Peoples and DJ Total Eclipse a master on the 1200s and an original member of the X-Ecutioners. Evidence will be performing solo material from his albums, The Weatherman, The Layover and new material from his forthcoming album Cats & Dogs as well as classic Dilated joints. Total Eclipse will be DJing for Evidence but he will also be playing a special DJ trick set that is sure to blow your mind!
Supporting our international guest and rocking the opening acts with be dope and super live DJ Spell, the ill MC crew 44meta4z, B boy/ B girl performance by Step Kingz with hosting skills by our very own MC Juse1 and DJ Kerb.

Evidence (Dilated Peoples)Evidence made his name as part of the legendary trio Dilated Peoples, alongside Rakaa Iriscience and DJ Babu. Despite winning a GRAMMY for co-production on Kanyes College Dropout and two JUNOs for his work with Swollen Members, Evidence wasnt yet a solo name to be recognized. Then in 2007, Evidence released The Weatherman LP. This debut wove together towering bangers like Mr. Slow Flow and uplifting cuts like Chase the Clouds Away. He then released The Layover EP on Decon Records and The Layover Mixtape with DJ Skee in 2008—mastering in his lyrical style—hes been touring ever since.
Evidences long-awaited sophomore offering, Cats & Dogs, will be released on Rhymesayers Records later this year. The album reunites the powerhouse production team from The Weatherman—including long-time friend and collaborator Alchemist, Dr. Dre-protogé DJ Kalil, DJ Babu, and Evidence himself.So with all that love, whats the weatherman forecasting for 2010' Dilated Peoples is hard at work on their fifth full-length, Directors of Photography, and Ev is deep in the studio with The Alchemist for their anticipated collaboration, Stepbrothers. Sounds like another year of unparalleled grind...something as predictable as sunshine in LA. Unless of course, its raining Cats & Dogs.
