Straight from the heart and reminiscent of a smoky, French café, The Baker Suite create a seductive and potent world full of compelling stories and lush instrumentation, carrying the listener through elegant ballads, gypsy romantica and a lurching night waltz in the rain.
The Baker Suite will be touring to New Zealand in October to perform 2 shows at the Nelson Arts Festival. This will be followed by an intimate performance at the Corban Estate Arts Centre on Thursday October 21.
“We’re very excited to be performing at Corban Estate”, said Gayle Buckby of The Baker Suite, “it looks like a gorgeous venue that will really suit our music. There will also be a bar and light snacks, so it should be a beautiful night”.
