Following on from the success of last months sold out show with Justine Smith, Steve Wrigley is back and is bringing some hand picked talent with him. This time around 2010 Billy T award winner Rhys Mathewson, and star of the Jono Project, Guy Williams. These two young men are the very best of up and coming New Zealand comedic talent, preforming live for one show only, not too be missed!

One of the stars of TV3s 7 DAYS TV show - always coming from the left field! Steve Wrigley is a world class stand up who has performed Stand Up Comedy in New York, both in Times Square and on Broadway, in Canada, Australia, London and all over his native country, New Zealand.
Wrigley is a master story teller. His material comprises of well told highly energetic stories blasted through the manic filter of his over active imagination. Steves comedy draws you further and further into his world as he reveals an unusual life from a bizarre and wonderfully entertaining comedic perspective.
Rhys Matheson
2010 Billy T Comedy Award Winner!
Rhys Mathewson returns after last years award winning sell out show. You would think he would be feeling some pressure, but no, Rhys has it all sorted. At only 19 Mathewson is one of the brightest up and coming comedians and being at the forefront of the newest generation of kiwi comics, he is ready to impress at this years Festival. Rhys is truly a product of the New Zealand International Comedy Festival starting out as a member of the Festivals Class Comedians programme in 2006, working up to the RAW comedy competitions, and having performed in two previous Festivals, Rhys has now won the prestigious Billy T Award.
With 4 years of comedy experience under his belt and many achievements to his name, such as appearing on both Campbell Live and Close Up, opening for kiwi comedy titans Brendhan Lovegrove and Dai Henwood. In 2009 Rhys took off to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival where he was invited to share the stage with UK comedy greats, and NZ Festival favourite, Phil Nichol.
Guy Williams

Guy Williams was highly commended at the 2008 National Raw comedy finals and he has opened for Dai Henwood, Steve Wrigley and Raybon Kan. Guy is currently working for The Jono Project on C4. He recently made national headlines after an hoax appearance on TVNZs Breakfast program, an experience he described as an absolute blast.
